TEXTRON AWARDS ACTIO CHEMICAL MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS CONTRACT
MULTI-BILLION DOLLAR GLOBAL GIANT SELECTS ACTIO’S SAAS SOLUTIONS FOR MANAGING COMPLIANCE THROUGHOUT THE ENTERPRISE
Hampton, NH—November 10, 2004—Actio Corporation today announced that Providence based Textron, has selected Actio to provide chemical management solutions to Textron and their subsidiaries. Under the five year agreement, Actio will provide MSDS management services, regulatory reporting services and inventory tracking with their portfolio of chemical management solutions. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
“Textron undertook a comprehensive analysis of all service providers in the chemical management sphere and selected Actio because of the breadth of applications, and quality of our hosted content. MSDS Vault is the only database driven MSDS solution that lets customer’s leverage the data contained in the MSDS, for a variety of purposes,” stated Chris Nowak, business development manager for Actio Corporation. “Textron’s adoption of Actio technology continues to validate our model of outsourced chemical management services delivered as an ASP.”
