ACTIO’S MSDS VAULT ADDS SUPPLY CHAIN SUPPORT
FAX AND EMAIL INTEGRATION PROVIDE DOCUMENT DISTRIBUTION HUB
Hampton, NH September 4, 2002, Actio Corporation today announced additional supply chain support, and upgrade it’s industry pioneering ASP based MSDS (material safety data sheet) management solution MSDS Vault. New features provide a command center for distribution of MSDS (material safety data sheets) to client customers and employees.
The addition of faxing and emailing within the MSDS Vault ™ application, forms an efficient document distribution system that also links a product or chemical catalog with its associated material safety data sheet. At the click of an icon, with the inclusion of a fax number and recipient, the MSDS is sent on its way without the client company’s personnel having to search through reams of paper, isolating the document and manually faxing the document to customers. An email can be used with or instead of the fax number providing complete document distribution support.
“Over the past year our distribution and manufacturing client’s have requested a low cost distribution method for sending MSDS” stated Russ McCann, president of Actio Corporation, the inclusion of fax and email into MSDS Vault is the most cost effective and efficient means of distributing OSHA required documents. Our client’s can send out thousands of MSDS without the cost of printing, postage or the administrative burden previously associated with their fulfillment.”
Pricing and Availability
Email and faxing support will be available on October 1, 2002. There will be no additional charge to MSDS Vault subscribers for access to these new features. For customer’s using the fax capability of MSDS Vault, there will be a telecommunications charge as low as ten cents per page for distribution in the United States and Canada.
