ACTIO DEBUTS MSDSXCHANGE
Hampton, NH January 17, 2001, Actio Corporation today announced the immediate availability of their web portal www.msdsxchange.com as a free service to all EHS professionals in industry and education. MSDS Xchange™ offers the largest and most comprehensive reference collection of all chemical manufacturer and distributor listings available on the web. This functional portal, to thousands of chemical suppliers worldwide, will enable users to source any original material safety data sheets (MSDS) found on the web and streamlines the process of locating a manufacturer’s MSDS.

For Actio’s existing subscribers, a simple key word search using the name of the manufacturer, distributor or service provided will launch a listing of all potential matching web sites. An optional interface allows the user to scroll through an alphabetical list and click on the desired manufacturer name. The URL provides the user with the manufacturer or distributor MSDS repository when available. The MSDS Xchange database may be searched for MSDS using manufacturer name, CAS number and/or chemical name.
Providing manufacturer data sheet information is only a part of the Company’s total compliance solution.
