INTRODUCTION OF MY BINDER AND LABELMAKER
Hampton, NH--February 12, 2003--Actio Corporation today announced a significant upgrade to their industry standard web portal www.msdsxchange.com. My Binder enables end users to assemble and manage collections of material safety data sheets that can be accessed from their desktop computers. Specialized libraries for specific industries streamline access to these mandated documents.

MSDSXchange™ contains the largest and most comprehensive reference collection of material safety data sheets and chemical manufacturer/distributor listings available on the web. Searching and using MSDSxchange is a free service to business, education and government. Now, for a nominal annual fee, users can create a customized collection of MSDS instantly accessible in MyBinder from any desktop computer.
To assist users with secondary container labeling, MSDSxchange now supports Actio’s LabelMaker thermal printers and labels. This extremely cost effective solution removes one of the biggest burdens in complying with OSHA’s Hazardous Communication Standard—keeping the secondary container label in parity with MSDS information. Now a label can be tied to the MSDS and all the information accurately conveyed and stored for use at any time. Internal HMIS or NFPA ratings can be assigned or taken from MSDS information to facilitate employee training and awareness.
MSDSxchange has over 1 million MSDS available with new documents being added on a regular basis. If a customer finds an MSDS that is not in the system, they can automatically upload the document into their collection. Chemical companies and manufacturers who have collections of MSDS are encouraged to submit them free of charge to MSDSxchange.
Pricing and Availability
MyBinder and LabelMaker will be available March 15, 2003. MyBinder has an annual subscription fee of $195.00. Actio’s LabelMaker printers are available directly from Actio for $295.00, and include one roll (300) permanent adhesive labels. There is no charge for searching and using MSDSxchange for researching manufacturers or material safety data sheets.
